United Brotherhood

This post is not about a certain activity. Just a reflection on the awesome brotherhood we are part of. The brothers locally have gone out of their way to accommodate us and show us love. Like the Bethelite sister taking a vacation day and driving hours to take us to Ukutula. A brother found out Stacy didn't get to go to Bethel so he arranged for someone to take her and her roommate to go to Bethel and even have lunch with the Bethel family. As we returned to our hotel last night, there was a local family dropping off delegates. They all had had dinner together. The family had a little girl that hugged me so tight and wouldn't let go.

It reminds me of something Anderson (the brother from Malawi we met yesterday) said. He said that our we need to be able to be close and rely on our brothers now and especially in times of persecution. When something is broken, our brothers fix it. So if we have any issues now with any brothers, fix it immediately as we don't know how quickly this system can turn on us. He said with so much love and sincerity. It made such an impact on us as has this whole trip.
